Our customers seek two attributes in a 29er wheelset - Performance and Durability. The FSW 29s serve up the former - Performance- with light and snappy rims on smooth rolling hubs, which spin up to speed quickly after corners, scale inclines capably, and help you keep your speed high on the last lap of that race you maybe wish ended by now.
Durability comes from our expert and attentive handbuilding process. Now in truth, you don't really care if your wheels are built by hand, machine or monkey. What you want them to have high and even tension the day you take them out of the box and even after you put them through whatever the mountain throws at you. We believe the best way to achieve that is with a handbuilt wheel, crafted, tested and inspected by people who have a vested interest in satisfying our customers' expectations. Want bigger bearings, larger diameter axles, improved bearing seals, exquisite machining, optimized flange geometry, added durability and some extra bling? Go ahead and upgrade to the Chris King ISO or White Industries Mi6 hubs. You'll see them as options in the shopping cart.
Like all November wheelsets, the FSW 29s are made with rims, hubs and spokes that have passed strict EN testing, and are hand-built to draconian trueness, roundness and tension standards right here in the U.S.
Shipping/handling for the FSW wheelset is $35. MD residents pay 6% sales tax.
