Premium Hub Offerings

All our wheelsets come stock with hubs sourced from Novatec in Taiwan, an OEM supplier to some of the largest brands in the business (all of whom except us stamp their own brand on Novatec's hubs). But if you prefer a brand you've heard of before that sentence, we can help you out there too. We offer the following premium hubs on any of our wheelsets:

Chris King R45

The Chris King R45 may be the most coveted road hubs in the world, owing to their peerless craftsmanship and attention to detail. 20% lighter than the vaunted Classic, the R45 weighs in at 317g per pair. But weight isn't the performance story with the R45. Stout 17mm axles resist deflection, and the house-made stainless steel bearings are renowned for their smooth-rolling and durability. Chris King reduced the points of engagement from 72 in the Classic to 45 in the R45, which quiets the hub down significantly over the cicada-esque Classic but still provides nearly instant engagement.

The R45 is available on November wheels in black, silver, blue, pewter, red, green, gold, pink, mango and brown. But no one gets brown.  SRAM/Shimano drivetrains only.  **UPDATE** Now available for Campagnolo.

White Industries H2 / H3

Muscular and purposeful, the White Industries H2 and H3 hubs look every bit as hard working as they are. With 12mm and 15mm axles and heavier duty 6901 bearings, the H2 / H3 does not cut corners on performance at all. Yet it still tips the scales at only 349g per set, owing largely to the titanium freehub body. It's an inspired material choice as it's both harder and lighter than alloy, able to keep your cassette from biting while shaving precious grams.

The White Industries H2 / H3 is available on November wheels in black and silver. SRAM/Shimano and Campy drivetrains.

PowerTap G3 and PRO

PowerTap's top of the line hub for 2012 is the all new G3 (pictured at right). At 325g, the hub carries virtually no weight penalty. A new design puts the electronics on the outside of the hub, meaning you no longer have to send your entire wheel into Saris if your power meter needs some TLC. We also build with the PowerTap PRO, which is a similar all black hubshell as the G3 but it otherwise almost identical to the SL+ from the past couple of years. The PRO is 446g and, like the G3, has an oversized alloy axle and an alloy freehub body. Both come in SRAM/Shimano or Campy, and are fully ANT+ compatible.
